![]() You can also use them in 1v1s as a mixup when dodging an attack, or if you know that you can get it confirmed against long recovery moves.Īs for her bash, it creates pressure in teamfights against external opponents, just know that the range is rather short and it feeds a lot of revenge.Available on PC, Xbox One/Series X and PlayStation 4/5 Subreddit Discord Official Links The most useful thing about them is how easily you can initiate them and get pressure on opponents that way. Her side dodge heavies are useful in team fights as they are easily accessible unblockables, but keep in mind that their lateral range is better than their forward range and even then the range is pretty mediocre. Her forward dodge heavy is good for getting into a fight against an opponent who's already attacking, or catching an opponent trying to run, however keep in mind that it will get parried easily if you throw it out a lot. She's somewhat slow on rotation and while her peel is decent, it's nothing special (peel is basically how well a hero can help their teammates escape a bad situation). She's a good enough duelist that in a 1v1 you're not at a disadvantage and her some clear is acceptable. Warmonger isn't great in 4s but you can make her work in regular matchmaking. So basically play defensively, pick up on your opponents habits in nuetral, then punish said habits with your defense/enhanced lights to access your offense/dmg. You can also delay the chain attack well, which can lead to nice trades with her HA. Plus if they block the heavy your frame advantaged, if they parry its at most 14 dmg normally. I normally never chain light on WM bc its kinda unsafe. Bc that allows you to play around your enhanced lights to access your offense. Learning her frame advantage also is really good. No one can discern lights from heavies in MM so either they're making good reads, or you're being too predictable. If your heavies and lights are getting parried a lot youre probabaly being too predictable with them. It forces the opponent into a mixup most times, but it also requires you to make a read. And she has ok defense through her dodge bash. She's looking for parries bc 28 dmg on heavies and lights. In duels WM plays more defensive I'd say. ![]() Sooo I'm gonna assume you want duel advice? If you play breach and you infect an officer, try to GB him and throw him into the direction of your enemies, to keep damaging them with the corruption. The heavy has rather fast hyperarmor and not the biggest recoveries if I remember correctly. If you are in a teamfight or get ganked you can try to hit somebody with your level one bash and then targetswap the followup light or heavy. She is not as good at it as other heroes, but here and there it can work. When people start to light fish you or try to GB your start ups, you can try to back step light to go into your mixups. So much it catches people offguard or at least makes it more likely that they try to parry it. You can delay the chained heavy in the heavy-heavy chain quite a bit. People will still tell you how amazing corruption is, even though it actually is really bad to mediocre (except for Breach maybe). She is just a really bad hero nowadays and has lots of problems.
